A chance encounter with Rumi, the late Persian poet and philosopher changed everything for me back in 2019. I don’t recall how I happened upon ‘The Essential Rumi’, one of the most celebrated books of all time, but I would call it fate, a blessed breeze perhaps that led me to these verses.
Poets, philosophers and practitioners have searched far and wide to find meaning and purpose to life and it’s been this simple all along with Rumi’s singular message through his verses – live freely, love fearlessly and dance to the tunes of this life.

Our mind is akin to a prison when locked in too long. Fears and doubts keep us from stepping out through the door, into a world full of opportunities. Be empty of worrying! Step through the door and into infinite possibilities.
Be melting snow
Wash yourself of yourself.
Letting go of personal limitations, inhibitions and negative emotions, much like snow melts into itself and loses its distinct form. This is the key to self-reflection and rebirth.
